Clan Colquhoun's ancestral lands lie along the shore of scenic Loch Lomond
Long before members of Clan Colquhoun and Clan Johnstone began to emigrate to various points around the globe, the clans had long and storied histories in their ancestral lands in Scotland. Clan Colquhoun resided along the shore of scenic Loch Lomond, at the boundary between the Lowlands of Central Scotland and the Highlands. Clan Johnstone is a Lowland clan from Annandale, in Dumfrieshire, in the Southern Uplands. As opportunity allows, we will be adding historical information about the clans in Scotland, and what anecdotal and documented accounts we can find about the ancestors of the clans before Scotland.
